Frequently Asked Questions

How long is my name on the waitlist?

Your name will stay on the waitlist for 30 days.
If you would like to be added again, please call and repeat step one.

How soon will I be called from the waitlist?

A dog needs to move or cancel their appointment that fits the same description of your pet.

There is no way to give you a wait time.

How do you contact me if you have an opening?

We will send you a text and/or a phone call. We suggest you add our phone number to your phonebook
so you recognize our number when we call: 605-679-4820.

How soon do I need to respond to your call or text about an open appointment?

Call or reply to text ASAP. We send out 4 messages to 4 clients at a time.
The first to respond will receive the appointment.

Why is it so hard to get an appointment?

Dirty Dog Spa is very busy. We are doing our best to keep up with the demand of pets that need our attention. Please be patient as we receive an overwhelming amount of calls each day. If you are requesting to be added to the waitlist, we will simply respond with text and not a call.
